My first time working with the UFC, I was asked to come cover a serious story. Robert Follis was a highly successful and talented UFC coach based out of Las Vegas who sadly committed suicide. His girlfriend found peace through scuba diving, and we wanted to tell her story.

We met up and collected everyone in Khao Lak, Thailand before heading off to Similans National Marine Park with a speedboat. Our final destination was a remote island called Koh Bon, located far off the Andaman coast. It's home to some of the most spectacular marine life in the country.

It was an excellent one day shoot where we ended up doing 2 dives and even got lucky spotting a Manta Ray! I captured lots of footage of both her and the marine life and we had excellent ambient light and perfect blue water visibility.
